Introduction
Our Cubase
tuition provides an alternative to college based courses for
both newcomers and more experienced Cubase users. Tuition is
carried out in an informal atmosphere and is structured to meet
the real world needs of MIDI programming/editing using Steinberg’s
Cubase.

Cubase VST/24
Tuition is based around Cubase VST/24 for the PC and is on a one to one
basis with each lesson lasting one hour. These are normally held once
per week between 10am-1pm, 2pm-4pm, 6.30pm–9.30pm Monday to Friday. If
these times are not suitable we may be able to arrange alternative
times. Training is held ’in house’ at East Kilbride, not at your own
home.

Does
it matter that I am using an older version of
Cubase?
No!
You should be able to apply what you learn
about MIDI sequencing using VST/24 to earlier versions of Cubase.
|
 |
Is Cubase audio included in the training?
No! At the moment tuition is restricted to that part of Cubase VST/24
that is related to MIDI sequencing.
|
 |
Do I need to know anything about Cubase or MIDI?
As long as you have Cubase installed and configured correctly on your own PC with a working sound system, and you have some
type of master controller that you can use to input the various types of
MIDI data, or you are prepared to enter the data manually, then you can
take advantage of our training.

How much does the training cost?

Selective Cubase tuition
If there is a particular part of Cubase that you would
like to learn more about e.g. Logical Editor, Drum Editor etc. we can
arrange specific tuition on that subject.
